“I was in town recently with my family visiting family and I have no complaints other than the breakfast selection was horrible but that wasn't really a big deal for us because we went out to eat. The hotel was in a convenient location plenty stores and food places near by, we had two rooms 208 and 210 both served there purpose they were clean and we slept with no problems, had a microwave and refrigerator. When in town would stay there again”

“This is an iconic big hotel , pretty old and with some technical problems sometimes , but offers a strategic position on Michigan Avenue, beautiful lake front, public buses and subways very close. Every time I come from Italy to Chicago I stay in this hotel. I will do it again.

“My friend and I came for lollapalooza. We got here a bit early for our reservation and thankfully the lady upfront was able to get us in. The room looks great. A simple plain room. We have room service every day we stayed. The breakfast was good. The pool was good too, it’s four and half feet deep. Definitely staying again.”

“It was a very nice stay. I was so impressed by the kindness of the staff and quick accommodations. Additionally, the breakfast offered was amazing. I assumed it would be just packaged items, but they were some delicious boiled eggs and pancakes offered! Would love to stay here once more when I visit Chicago again. Thank you to all the staff!”

“We had e a great stay. We had a room on the first floor and right inside the side door. We were attending a concert nearby and easily got an Uber and it's not far from venue.
We were surprised of how nice the place was. ”

The room had lighting fixtures that worked and the phone in the room worked to contact the front desk. The bathroom was nice as well, no water flow issues, the beds were comfortable. It was hot outside and the air conditioner worked fabulously. Thank you Super 8 -Monee, Illinois. I will revisit this one!”

The staff is super kind and helpful. A guy, Arturo his name, has been the most kind person I could ask for.
The structure is old, yes, not recently refurbished, but clean and affordable.

Non c’è e nemmeno il sapone il wifi non funziona e quando lo chiedo al concierge mi risponde che non è di sua competenza. Riscaldamento super rumoroso. Non esiste servizio in camera e il concierge non er stato gentile per niente. Niente acqua in camera. Se la sua vuole costa 8 euro a bottiglia. Veramente pessima esperienza "

Spazi comuni dell’hotel molto accoglienti . Unica pecca del mio soggiorno è’ stata la delusione per le mancate aspettative. Ho prenotato e pagato una camera con vista sul fiume ma mi è stata data una camera con vista città , lo abbiamo fatto presente ma ci è stato risposto che il fiume si vedeva … in lontanza si vedeva ma non era con vista sul fiume .A parer mio bisognerebbe essere più trasparenti ma a parte questo dettaglio la camera era comunque molto bella ma avendo l’ aspettativa della vista che si vedeva nella foto all’atto della prenotazione sono rimasta delusa . In ogni caso consiglierei comunque questo hotel per la zona e per le camere molto spaziose "
