“The Casa Ritual was quiet. Tasteful. Figuratively and literally! The food was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful yet not overbearing. I enjoyed the pool courtyard area n particular; beautiful, verdent greenery. Lovely birdsong. The water was perfect. And there was never more than 1-4 people in the pool, which was nice if you like it quiet, which we do. “The woman who helped us check in to our room, answered all our questions and offered us coffee was lovely. Instructions on how to access the hotel and which building it was was unclear, and when I called the number provided the man was not very welcoming. We enjoyed the shared outdoor space, the air conditioning in the room and the proximity to the airport and downtown. ”

“Starting in the morning with a beautiful fresh tropical, breakfast buffet, and then moving to the pool/ocean chairs for the day, which were very very comfortable, the staff was always attentive to our needs, where we would order multiple drinks and lunch poolside, I highly recommend the shrimp cocktail!!! each night was a different theme and we enjoyed every single one of them. “I feel like we were ‘shunned’ because we booked our room on Expedia and not through the hotel. We were put in one of the back buildings which is old and not updated. I’m sure the bed is from the 90s! The floor in the room hasn’t been washed for ages… The staff is always great at Paradise and the beach is beautiful. My family has been members here for 30 years and because of the cartel incident, bookings were canceled. So I booked a quick trip on Expedia ”

I really enjoyed the access to the gym as I am recuperating from surgery and must exercise. The breakfast service was nice and the 24 hour coffee and tea a nice perk. “Underground parking available. Very nice rooftop pool with adjacent bar I didn’t see mentioned in reviews. Great for families. Huge sandy, smooth, well-groomed beach. Very gradual and shallow slope, no weeds or rocks. Room was clean, staff very friendly. Food selection could be improved somewhat, but was still good. Great hamburger snack area right on the beach. Not crazy about the plastic reusable cups for drinks. Very quiet at night. True that lots of the patrons were Mexicans…not a...
