Hotel a Maysville

“Denny was a wonderful host! I stayed on the third floor in the Derby Room. It was perfectly charming! Everthing I needed for a solo one night getaway. Perfectly located to enjoy a leisurely walk around downtdown Maysville. Fantastic eateries and pubs just footsteps away from the front door. Denny was very knowledgeable about the local fare and offered many suggestions.The next time I need to take a step back in time and enjoy the company of the lovely people of Maysville, I will definitely book...

“This place is fine for a short stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was no street noise. Our room was close to the lobby and we did hear noise from people who got up earlier than we did in the lobby. The breakfast was Lim, but overall for the price we paid, I was satisfied with the place.”

“Food is always delicious at the Yum Yum hope the restaurant Jethro's is open this summer. Bar is amazing bartenders is always friendly.”

“There was a slight odor of marijuana all on the 2nd floor -which was a little disappointing-but we ran the fan continuously and that took care of it for the most part. Wonder why the pool couldn’t be open a little earlier in the morning? Breakfast was great! Quiet room! Beautiful setting, easy access from interstate.”

“This is our go to hotel when we visit Red River Gorge. And one of the only hotels with a pool in the red River gorge area!! This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and have been over pleased both times. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The heated indoor pool is the best feature here, the whole family loves it. The hot tub isn’t as hot as I would like it to be but still nice. The rooms have a mini fridge and microwave which is always nice. I highly recommend this hotel. ”

“No lamps, only a flourscent light on the wall above the bed. No place to hang clothes, no coffee pot. Carpet very dirty and cob webs on every corner. Reserved a non smoking room, but the room smelled like cigarette smoke and there was NOT a no smoking sign on our door like the room numbers higher then ours.”

“Any equine fan has to stay at The Thoroughbred Hotel. It is beautiful inside and the rooms are fantastic. Everything is super clean, completely modern with an elegant style that is so appropriate for southern hospitality in horse country. The staff were professional, friendly and went out of their way to make sure the stay was enjoyable.”
