“No lamps, only a flourscent light on the wall above the bed. No place to hang clothes, no coffee pot. Carpet very dirty and cob webs on every corner.
Reserved a non smoking room, but the room smelled like cigarette smoke and there was NOT a no smoking sign on our door like the room numbers higher then ours.”

“Any equine fan has to stay at The Thoroughbred Hotel. It is beautiful inside and the rooms are fantastic. Everything is super clean, completely modern with an elegant style that is so appropriate for southern hospitality in horse country. The staff were professional, friendly and went out of their way to make sure the stay was enjoyable.”

“The smell of the room was awful There was a nasty big dark brown spot in the middle of the bed. There were bugs, me and my lady found bite marks on us the next day we had a poor experience i was dissatisfied with the room entirely. “I was there Thursday through Sunday. Room was clean, front desk very friendly, but breakfast was not monitored very well. Hot items not refilled, one morning not any fresh fruit, twice no hot water for tea and three out of four coffees were empty. No one wiping down tables. “The room was clean, the staff were great, and the bed was comfortable. My wife and I especially LIKED the blackout blinds as we like sleeping in a dark room. We had one minor issue, reported it and it was fixed right away. We will definitely look to stay at this hotel on future trips. An added benefit, Georgetown was a great town to stay in!”
