“My family is visiting the area for medical reasons. We were so concerned because we had never been to the area, much less California! We were pleasantly surprised to find that the area was very nice, with several restaurants and a Whole Foods across the street. The hotel is very clean and in great condition. “We checked in early and received a room right away. Crystal was very outgoing and friendly. I really liked the bright bathroom lights. It was also very nice to see a magnifying mirror. The free breakfast was satisfactory. Typical sit up with cereal, oatmeal, yogurt (from a machine), waffles, toast, etc. It's convenient to have a free breakfast. Long beach is walkable. “We had a great stay here. The location is hard to beat—right next to The Pike stores and close to the port, which made getting around super easy. The on-site café was a nice bonus and a great spot to grab coffee and relax. Check-in staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which always sets the tone for a good stay. The room itself was cozy and felt very homey—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Long Beach.”
