“We booked an ocean-view room through Expedia, but the only view from our room was trees and the garden. We chose not to complain to the front desk and stayed in the room we were assigned. “We are not totally happy with the motel. 1. During check in they charge $20 each for additional person on top of the rate be paid. She discounted half of it which suppose to be $80 down to 40.00 ! Looks like this hidden charges 2. When we got into the room, it smelled bad like a typical old moldy house that never been cleaned and sanitized so they did ozolate? to get rid of the smell. 3. “Very nice property! Great location, nice views, very nice room which was very clean especially for a Pet friendly room. They had everything you need in the room. The grounds/gardens are well maintained and pretty. Nicely lit at night. The restaurant/Tavern was excellent; great food, wonderful atmosphere and service. Our server Matt was amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even our fur babies enjoyed the stay just as much as we did. We will be coming back here for sure!”

“Beautiful property. The staff were so friendly and absolutely amazing! They provided outstanding hospitality with a personal touch! My fiancé and I absolutely loved the amenities- our favorite thing might have been relaxing each night in front of the fireplace in our room after a soak in the hot tub. Also, the donkeys were very cute 😁”

“This is the most amazing place! The food is divine, breakfast was brought to our room each morning after submitting our order, we each had a california eggs benedict, pastries, parfaits and fresh coffee. The beach is 5 minutes walk from your room. The garden is stunning! Dinner was incredibly delicious and the setting so romantic and beautiful. Highly highly recommend Elk Cove Inn we will be coming back again! ”
