“House was clean and had everything you needed. It was a great location! Less than 10 minute walk to all the Crystal Mountain shops, golf, restaurants, pool, etc. Great for kids! Had a nice basement with a couch and TV, bedroom with a few beds, and full bathroom. 4 kids slept down there. Overall, it was a great stay and we would come back!”

Quiet nature surrounded us, giving plenty of privacy while enjoying the hot tube after our long days of walking through nature and beaches with some trips to the sleeping bear dunes. “This home met all my expectations for a vacation on the lake in Interlochen. I visited the area many times before, but not in several decades. The peaceful location in the woods with a view down to the lake and the gazebo from the screened in porch was a perfect as it could be. The home was well-appointed and decorated.”

“At Red Shutters you fall asleep in front of a roaring fire and wake to deer grazing in the yard. The accommodations are clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked with cooking gear and dried spices. The propane stove in the main room was nice when the weather turned colder. It’s lovely to be surrounded by dense woods and just 3 blocks from Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake. A wonderful retreat. ”
