“We had a wonderful stay at Plantation Oaks Suites & Inn in Millington. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. “I am a retired federal air marshal, which means I lived in hotels for nine years. I was employed by the federal air marshals as a flying federal air marshal and stayed at all the major hotel brand’s domestically and internationally. This hotel is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It was overpriced, considering all the issues that I found in it and that I wrote about below. 1. “Rooms were cleaned and stocked very well but need some painting ”

“Was close to the hospital and clinics and gas station and restaurants but the bad no coffee pot in room and pool not opened”

“Place was dirty outside near the registration window. Rooms had old/dirty sheets that have not been replaced. The room smelled of mildew on the rugs and bedspread. The floors had dead roaches and spiders on them. Toilet had dirty rings and smelled awful. I could not stay a full night in the place. I got there at 1:00 am and got up at 5am. I leaned back in a chair for a while and did not come back. Please do not go here it is one of the worst places I've been. Very nasty.”

“My room I reserved was not even what I ordered. I reserved a room with king size bed and they gave me two queens instead for same pricing for one night as the king. Stains on tv remote and the tv stand. The tv wasn’t working, room was hot and stuffy. No soap at all for the shower. Overall this place was a rip off for the quality of my stay. I would stay away from this location for other travelers passing through.”

“A bucket list stay for me. The walk of the ducks is a very cool experience. The casual restaurant with the piano was fun. They really needed more wait staff but we still enjoyed the food and happy hour specials.”
