“This is my second time staying at this hotel, as I try to visit the Berkshires at least once a year. I absolutely love it and plan to stay here whenever I return. The property is charming, with beautifully designed rooms and a cozy, inviting lobby. The rooms are stocked with Santal products, which is a nice touch. Upon check-in, guests are offered fresh water and tea, making you feel welcome right away. The hotel also has its own restaurant and bar, both of which stay open fairly late. One...

“Best that can be said is that it was clean. The shower was ok. No on-site staff, we had to check in using a Ring doorbell and bad phone connection. The baseboard heat control required me to get on the floor and crawl into the corner of the room behind the fridge. And the room didn’t look at all like the picture on Expedia. Stay here if you have no other choice.”

“This hotel looks like you stepped into 1980. The front door had a gap that let in light and cold air. The wallpaper was peeling. There were scuff marks on the walls and door. The bathroom fixture was open and you could see exposed wiring. Some outlet plates were also open. The one lamp had non working electrical outlets. The room smelled musty. The beds were comfortable and the shower had reasonable pressure.”
