VILLA E FATTORIA DI RADI SIENA, in the heart of Tuscany, is a charming historic Tuscan Villa and Farmhouse only 12 km south from the medieval walled city of SIENA. In the top of the sunny hill, in the famous Tuscan area named CRETE SENESI. VILLA DI RADI is an italian historic house and estate, date back to the Middle Ages, when it was a fortress defending SIENA. All around the Villa and Farmhouse an organic farm is always producing olive oil, honey and biologycal cereals. The Medieval Farmhouse, surrounded by a cypressus and olive trees garden, consists of several charming-restored apartments with independent entrance.
A perfect holiday of relax in the most authentyc tuscan area, enjoying enogastronomic and cultural tours all around the Villa e Fattoria di Radi.
Here you can relax by the large and spacious swimming pool, enjoying the most amazing view of crete senesi rolling hills with Siena towers in the back. Breakfast can be asked for served every morning at the main Villa.
Located in the medioeval Farmhouse the apartment ISTRICE is a delightful home, with AIR CONDITIONED IN ALL THE ROOMS, hosting 2 to 5 persons. Wood ceiling and cotto floor. A living with fully equpped kitchen, one double bedroom (where we can add a third bed) and one twin-bedded room, shower bathroom. Amazing windows view on the crete senesi all around. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Free wifi. In the garden private GAZEBO, furnished with table, chairs and private barbecue.
Few meters from the ISTRICE APARTMENT the lovely swimming pool is available to guests and is furnished with sunbeds chairs and sun shades.

Ideal for a peaceful holiday in the nature and relax by the pool, and to visit cities, monuments and artistic treasures of Tuscany. Siena is just 12 km away, Florence, Arezzo, Pisa about an hour away.
The estate Villa e Fattoria di Radi is the ideal starting point to visit the Sienese and Florentine Chianti region, Val d'Orcia, Val di Chiana and to conocere Abbazia and Conventi such as Monte Oliveto, San Galgano and so on.
Then there is shopping with the large VALDICHIANA outlet. the best fashion brands at discounted prices half an hour away by car.
THE SPORTS. For bike lovers we are on the track of the Eroica, for lovers of walking we are on the ancient Via Francigena.
BAGNAIA GOLF is only 8 km away, LA SPA BUDDHA is 8 km away.
THE TENNIS COURT is 3 km away. and the MANEGGIO 20 minutes from the RADI Farm.

La casa ISTRICE è DOTATA DI ARIA CONDIZIONATA in tutte le stanze. L'appartamento misura 70 m.2 ed ospita da 2 fino a 5 persone: soggiorno con cucina completa, camera matrimoniale (dove è possibile aggiungere 1 letto in più), camera a 2 letti, un bagno con doccia: VEDI PREZZI E CALENDARIO. In giardino gazebo riservato con tavolo, sedie e barbecue privato, parcheggio gratuito nella struttura.
L' abitazione è completamente indipendente ed ha un proprio ingresso. L' abitazione è completamente arredata ed ha una cucina completa: lvastoviglie, lavatrice, frigo e freezer. I soffitti sono a travi di legno e i pavimenti in cotto. Il giardino toscano con olivi e cipressi ed il gazebo esclusivo per l'Appartamento garantiscono riservatezza e tranquillità esicurezza sanitaria.

Everything was fabulous. Apartment was perfect. Ian t heproperty manager was always ready to help. In two weeks we visited 8 hill towns and many local restaurants. Can't wait to go back!!!!

I really loved staying here. Very grand estate exactly like the photos. Private, quiet, stunning views. Just 15 minutes from Sienna which you can see in the distance from the property. This was a great place to use as a home base while travelling and exploring Tuscany. Great pool area for a dip after a day out exploring in the car. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone wanting a unique and great experience while in the area. Make sure you have GPS or google maps on your phone. Not just to locate this property, but because you will really appreciate and use it while driving the curvy hilly roads in Tuscany exploring g other towns and villages. So many wonderful places to see. Have fun on your trip to Tuscany staying here. It was magical for us.

The setting in the rolling Tuscan countryside is beautiful. Ian who met us and helped with our bags was very helpful, he recommended a great local restaurant and when my husband decided to go swimming, cleaned the pool again. He came to help us out late one night after we arrived back from dinner and couldn't get the key to turn in the lock. It was very cool inside the apartment as the walls are stone and it was built in the 15th century but it always seemed cool and damp inside and they charge extra for heat. If you want to cook there it's not set up well as there is no kitchen counter for preparation. While there is a dishwasher, there is no dish rag or soap, so you can't really wash out a couple of glasses and plates and it seems a waste of energy to use the dishwasher for a few things.

Le logement étaient très satisfaisant. Les prestations correspondent au descriptif. L'environnement du site et les paysages sont grandioses avec une vue sur la ville de Sienne. Nous recommandons cette location !

We truly enjoyed our stay at this villa, which was once a large working farm and is still owned by the family. The apartments are in a 500 year old building with thick walls, and well maintained in a rustic style. The pool was cool and refreshing. And the views from the pool are incredible. The rooms are not air conditioned, and it would have been more comfortable with working fans in the bedrooms. Don't bring important work to this place- the views and the weak WiFi will keep you from it. There is a delicious "tavern" (Osteria) next to the property that serves salads, sandwiches, local fare, wine, etc. where we had a delicious lunch under a 100 year old tree. This lovely place is also only a 20 minute drive to Siena through the rolling hills, and has easy access to other towns in Tuscany.
