“I want this idea to succeed, however this particular hotel is let down by various design oversights. Specifically:
- Only one hook in the shower and no bench or other place to put dry clothes, etc.
- A really bright blue light on the capsule ventilation system that stays on whenever the ventilation is on. Which makes it hard to sleep with the ventilation on.
- Also even with the ventilation the capsule was too hot over night.
- The magnetic lock on the door is basically for show, it takes...

“Great location in the old town. Everything was much appreciated. We got some concerns :
1) check in 16.00 it’s really late (first time it happens)
2) not having the breakfast in the building it’s a minus from my prospective
3) MAIN : so many noises especially during the morning. Works outside start really early and the glass are soooo thin! Unfortunately always wake up with noises around 06.30am
4) no cleaning room - costs 9 5 dollars ”

“Ok so the check in process was a little problematic bc the link you are given by email goes to a page where you are given instructions at check-in time which is 3pm.
It will give you a code for the front door and room. Enter the code and press #. You see that bit of instruction when you scroll down the page. I didn’t know that so keep that in mind. Otherwise it’s very easy to check in. The unit has everything you need kitchen wise but no refreshments. Just bring your own. There are 2 coffee...

“Bowery Lofts is a great place to stay in Old Montreal. I say this with a few ‘ warnings’.
It’s location is perfect
Great Restaurants, Great Shops
It’s well setup and clean.
The entire check-in- checkout and communication is ALL online and very efficient.
It has a real great feel.
It can be a bit noisy, from the excitement of the street activity.
But that’s part of the reason to stay there.

“Clean and renovated rooms. Bathrooms were clean. I did find two strands of other people’s hair in my bed but overall it was good. The ceilings were not renovated but it didn’t matter too much to me. Location is really good as it intersects three of the four metro lines. Not a busy or loud area so good for rest at night. Mostly students in the neighborhood so it was quite safe.”
