“Canyon Pool bar and grill didn't open at the time advertised. There is not 2 restaurants on site, only the Canyon Grill, which is at the pool and has limited hours. Prices were quite high too. The room was supposed to have a main kitchen and 2nd bedroom have a small kitchen area, it didn't have any type of kitchen in 2nd bedroom. Master bedroom had 2 tubes of used toothpaste on counter, fork in dishwasher and coffee spill in kitchen sink.Communication to/from property was ignored. I sent emails...

“The hotel was good - convenient location for golfers. Food and service at the restaurant were great. Hotel & restaurant staff friendly & professional. Only complaint paid extra for a room with a patio - not worth it. Views if a construction site & eye level with the adjacent street. Terrible design. ”

“Just average in terms of quality. We had issues with the shower working properly. It would seem poor maintenance standards. The shower head was extremely low pressure and to regulate water temperature took an engineering degree. ”

Additionally, the staff at the Hacienda restaurant were unhelpful and came across as rude. I also had to contact the Privado front desk three separate times to obtain basic information about the gym schedule, which was frustrating. “Rooms were great and grounds were gorgeous! We loved the turndown service and the cleaners did an amazing job daily, the only negative with the room was the intensity of the doors closing…we could constantly hear doors slamming. The staff was so helpful. The pools were great and the restraints were wonderful too. We had an amazing server for breakfast each day at Ironwood and had a wonderful time at Bourbon Steak with Devin as our server. The only disappointing part was the spa and fitness...

“We enjoyed our stay. Disappointed the splash area slide was broken and closed with caution tape but enjoyed all the other amenities.”

“Very clean rooms with a nice view of the country club and palm trees. Area is nice with a lot restaurant to dine in or grab a cocktail. The hotel also has a bar passing the lobby and pool. Receptionist was very helpful and polite.”

“All very good - the gentleman at the front desk (day shift) is a star - super helpful and just the right amount of friendly combined with professional. Breakfast exceptional. Didn’t use pool - but saw many others using it. Overall for us felt a bit overpriced - but appreciated it nonetheless”

“Unfortunately there were crowds of families staying for traveling sports teams for kids. Pool area was unruly much of the time with kids being unsupervised by parents and or coaches. Hotel management was unable to maintain a comfortable atmosphere for other guests. Loud yelling jumping and ball throwing ruled the day . We would not stay here again based on these conditions. Too bad for Hilton not up to our expectations ”

“We loved the resort. The rooms were spacious, clean & well stocked. When we asked for fresh towels it was no problem. The pool areas were amazing! Safe & pretty walking area. ”

“It is a nice property. We had an odd shaped room. The layout was tight and awkward, but I'm an sure not all rooms are like the one we stayed in. I liked that there is a mini kitchen. You need to get to the pool early to get a lounge chair in the sun, if that is what you are looking for. There are lots of activities. Check-in and check-out were very easy. If you drive, parking is a very expensive per day rate, in my opinion.”
