“The property looks vacant/closed when you drive by. Looks like it hasn’t been open in years. When we checked in there was an issue between the staff about what rooms were cleaned and not cleaned. When we got to our room it was tiny and super dark, even with all of the lights on. The armchair looked to have an old bullet hole and tones of mystery stains all over it. “The lobby was dirty I had to call out for the clerk to come out of her car where she was smoking pot and Rolling a joint on the 2 occasions I needed help . First to check in and second time because the tv wasn’t working. The girl was clearly high smelling of pot and was of no help with the tv. The room stunk of smoke and animal. I would not recommend this property. As far As I knew there was no breakfasts and the stairs to the second floor were unstable”

“We registered a room for 4 people. When we walked in. There was 2 towels and one roll of toilet paper. As for staff, the only staff we saw was when we checked in and checked out. There was stuff under the bed from the previous people and on the top shelf in the closet, we actually arrived a couple hours after check in time and the previous person was just getting the rest of their stuff out of our room. “This property is NOT IHG quality! Pros: Walkable location for downtown New London events, fairly clean, spotty customer service. Cons: This property is SEVERELY outdated and VERY overpriced. Bathroom looked like a hospital bathroom with ZERO updates to the room. The price charged ($405.95) is OUTRAGEOUS. The property definitely changes room rates based on demand and events int the area.
