“We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit. The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers. ”

“The hotel is beautifully finished, location a little set back out of town and more set in a housing area. Location to city centre is great with just a 10 min ride in. ”

“Lovely weekend stay. The owners are really nice people, the property is absolutely, as was our room. Decent size room for our needs, with everything you could need. Breakfast was fantastic as well”

“Efficient, friendly staff and the hostess Donna couldnt help us enough,very nice lady,let us know where we could eat and drink. Very comfortable beds and the room was clean and immaculate.Complimentary continental breakfast which was unexpected but much appreciated., Great location for visiting Anfield and approx a 20min walk,but plenty of bars en route. Will definitely stay again when we are next up,100% recommend. ”

“We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,...

“The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. ”

“Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. ”
