“Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. “The cottage was great! It was very clean and comfy. The host had everything ready for us for a late check in. ”

“There’s a funky smell, it’s very dated, the AC keeps running even though it’s turned off, it also keeps making loud noises throughout the night, I can barely sleep. Otherwise it was a pretty good stay. I like the location and that it has two bathrooms.”

The limited street parking, which is noted in the listing is less than ideal as you can’t really get close to the front door with the homeowner of another property and the other what I assume rental property next door. Linens, dishes and counters were clean upon arrival.
