Spazioso appartamento recentemente ristrutturato (1118 piedi quadrati) nel centro storico, affascinante Algiers Point, direttamente sul fiume dal quartiere francese. Prendi il traghetto per il quartiere durante il giorno e torna a casa di notte nel secondo quartiere più antico di New Orleans e goditi il fascino (e la tranquillità!) dopo le tue baldoria.

Una delle parti più sicure di New Orleans e vicino a tutto. Ottimo posto per famiglie o gruppi familiari. Elementi essenziali per bambini (pack-n-play, seggiolone e stoviglie per bambini) forniti.

Questo appartamento è la metà di un doppio fucile e ha una tradizionale pianta del fucile da caccia, in cui una stanza segue un'altra: soggiorno (divano letto, 3 "memory foam topper), camera da letto 1 (due letti matrimoniali), camera da letto principale (1 letto matrimoniale), disimpegno / bagno 1 (combinazione doccia / vasca), cucina, camera da letto 2 (1 letto matrimoniale), bagno 2 (doccia). L'appartamento si affaccia su un bellissimo parco e su una chiesa storica, a un isolato dalla caffetteria locale e da tre case fino al negozio di alimentari d'angolo, Faubourg Fresh Market.

Il traghetto Algiers Point si trova a circa 6 isolati a piedi e il traghetto ti porta alla base di Canal Street, adiacente al quartiere francese e al quartiere centrale degli affari. La fermata del traghetto è anche adiacente al Riverwalk Mall, un grande centro commerciale lungo il fiume, a un isolato dal casinò di Harrah. Il Central Business District ospita molti dei ristoranti più famosi di New Orleans, tra cui Domenica, Agosto, Luke, Palace Cafe, Acme Oyster House, Redfish Grill, Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse, Bon Ton Cafe e molti altri. Il primo traghetto è alle 06:00 e l'ultimo traghetto di ritorno è alle 23:45 di venerdì e sabato sera e alle 21:45 da domenica a giovedì.

Cozy family friendly stay near the French Quarter

We had an incredible stay in this home. The house was exactly as advertised and was comfortable and fully stocked. It was a nice quiet retreat away from the busy French Quarter. I would highly recommend this house for a family.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

The property was just as pictured! No hidden surprises. It gave us a homey feel and the neighbors and neighborhood added to that ambiance. Our stay was short, only four days, but we gathered on the front porch daily to drink in the scenery and enjoy the outdoors! The area is centrally located and convenient to all areas of the city on both banks of the river. Thank you Josh and we look forward to staying in your beautiful home again !

Just Perfect

My husband and I always stay in Algiers whenever we visit New Orleans. This rental was beyond perfect for us. Not only is it convenient to the Ferry and our favorite breakfast and taco spots, but it has all the amenities of home. It was clean and comfortable. There was even a welcome goody basket in the kitchen. Our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. The hidden patio in the back was a perfect coffee spot each morning! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

A cozy retreat in a jewel of a neighborhood

The house was lovely and comfortable for my entire family of 5. Algiers Point is perfect for families with the park just outside the house and so many restaurants and cafes within a few blocks. Getting to other spots of interest is easy and doesn't take long at all by car. Josh truly went above and.beyind to make our stay special. We look forward to staying here again

Excellent Location

This was a perfect location for our visit. We weren't there for the nightlife but for cultural experiences and relaxation. The home is charming and comfortable. The neighborhood is perfect. While some gentrification has occured there is still an interesting mix of people who live in the neighborhood. We were surrounded by parks, dog walkers, kids walking to and from school, charming restaurants, and beautiful homes. We took the ferry to and from the French Quarter area every day.

Adorable Shotgun Style house in a clean neighborhood that’s close to everything.

We had a great stay here. The property is well maintained and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and clean but still close to the ferry and other attractions. The local community is pretty cool. Lots of fun places to eat and shop. My favorite part of the property was the backyard oasis. It is full of greenery and set up so well. This is a great place to stay with a small group or a family.

Hidden Gem

This house in Algiers Point was definitely a hidden gem! The neighborhood was lovely. There were little stores, cafes and bars that you could walk to. The ferry was just a few blocks away. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was fully stocked. Whatever you thought you might need was provided by the host. Our host Josh was very accommodating. He was available to answer any questions and offer suggestions. I can’t say enough about how nice the property was. It’s far enough away from the city to have some peace and quiet and close enough to enjoy all the festivities of the city. I highly recommend staying there when you visit the New Orleans area.

Perfect Family Trip

This house was just what we needed. Josh went above and beyond to make his home feel like our home. Kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels, sheets, pillows and blankets. Loved this house!

This is a quintessential New Orleans shotgun house that is terrific. Our family of 6 adults stayed here and enjoyed it. While we were there, we got to see a Second Line (a parade for all of us non-New Orleans people) after a wedding and it was so fun to participate! This place is absolutely charming.

Great house, very clean. Beds were comfortable. Perfect for our group of 6 adults. It is an older home, so A/C isn’t great. Window unit in back bedroom works great.

Spring Break Trip

The house was located in the historical section of Algiers across the river (short ferry ride) of New Orleans. This was the perfect location for a family. The house was clean and very spacious. It has charm and character, makes you feel right at home. Josh was a great host and made sure we had everything that we needed for our stay. The local pizza restaurant he recommended down the street was awesome as well. Will definitely be back!!

Exceptionally Clean Home in Algiers

The rental was sparkling clean and true to pictures. The beds were very comfortable and the house was well equipped. We appreciated the coffee and basket that welcomed us and the backyard space is beautiful. There were a few hiccups during our stay that we addressed with the owner and he was very quick to respond. The outlets in the back bathroom did not work, but he was going to remedy that immediately. Mostly though, the house was lovely and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed all the different art pieces on the walls. The home also was comfortable, quiet, and in a great location; the neighborhood was pretty and historic. We felt safe and enjoyed taking the easy walk to the ferry for a quick ride to the French Quarter. My only caveat is the area is a bit of a grocery store desert, so pick up supplies beforehand, if you can. There is a little store down the street and another a few blocks away, but selection is limited - we picked up items before coming over on the ferry, especially since it was late day Sunday and those 2 stores were closed. There is a wonderful glass blowing shop and a couple of restaurants nearby. Josh was very easy to work with and I would recommend staying in this rental, especially if you want to experience a different kind of New Orleans adventure.
