The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing at first glance, but the environment and operations can be extremely misleading. During the late-night hours (around 3–4 AM), there was a lot of concerning activity—women coming off elevators half-dressed and men coming in asking about hourly rates to see women. While what adults choose to do is their business, it significantly affects the overall atmosphere and comfort of the stay.
My husband and I could have overlooked that aspect if the room itself had been properly cleaned and maintained—but it was not. We found a black capsule on the floor (which raises obvious concerns), and there was a red stain on the sheets that appeared to be blood. That is completely unacceptable.
On top of that, the hotel had a strong, unpleasant odor throughout. The 4th floor smelled heavily of cigarettes, so we were moved—only to find that the 5th floor smelled just as bad for the duration of our stay.
Another unsettling moment was when a man came in asking for an hourly room and specifically requested an “11” room. This stood out because we were initially placed in room 411 and then moved to 511, which made us feel uncomfortable and uneasy about the type of rooms we were being assigned.
Overall, while the hotel looks nice visually, the experience was very disappointing and unsettling. Cleanliness, safety, and overall environment need serious improvement.
