Where to begin. The host did not tell you how to lock the apt door upon leaving. When you called the number given, the person answering (NY based) did not know how. Upon trying a second time, the woman answering thankfully did know. The apt. smelled strongly of Mr. Clean and the smell never dissipated. The apt hallway smelled strongly of some type of ethnic cooking the entire time we were there. On the positive side, it was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. The truly negative thing that would keep me from recommending this apt to anyone is that the cleaning person showed up 10 minutes early the day of check-out and stood there waiting for us to get out of the apt. In my haste, I left a very sentimental item of value in the closet in the bedroom. I realized it a few hours later. I texted with the property. It eventually became clear I was texting with a chatbot. The next morning I went through Expedia and was told (via message) they would contact the new occupant and ask if my item was there. I never heard back. Truly horrible customer service. You are definitely on your own when you stay here. Do not expect any service.
