Elegantemente arredato 2 camere, 2 bagni e un bel camino in pietra nel soggiorno. Completamente rinnovato nel 2015. Built-in divanetti in cucina. La cucina è fornita di elementi essenziali per la cottura. Grande cortile ombreggiato con pergola contenenti un barbecue e tavolo per mangiare all'aperto. Servizio lavanderia. Un blocco a piedi dal lago per ammirare il tramonto. Tranquillo quartiere residenziale dog-friendly. Biancheria di qualità fornita.

A Beautiful Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Hamlet Cottage. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and lovely garden while relaxing in the gazebo. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful and were quick to respond to our inquiries.We will definitely be back and hope to book for a longer stay next summer.

Quiet and Homey

Our stay was wonderful. The property is a short walk to the lake and it’s walkable to downtown. It instantly felt like home. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were accommodating and helpful. I suggest reading all the way to the bottom about the second bathroom. Don’t plan on going on a work vacation, though. The internet is very slow. Overall

So charming . . .

This cottage was charming, very clean, and ideally situated. I loved being just a short walk from the park (less than 5 minutes) and about 25 minutes on foot to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake. The peaceful garden, beautiful flowers, and cozy gazebo made it a perfect spot to relax. The hosts were very helpful, and communication was easy and prompt throughout our stay. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy the area!

Great location and lovely cottage!

Very clean charming cottage. Great for 2 couples/friends. Excellent location. Walking distance to Lake Ontario and short distance to Queen Street and all the shops and restaurants.

This cottage has everything you would want!It was very clean, comfortable and in an excellent location! The owners responded quickly to any questions and were very accommodating! We would definitely return to Hamlet cottage!

A slice of Heaven

We loved this cottage online. Driving in on Shakespeare Lane we knew we were in for something special. We had everything we needed for a lovely time in NOTL. We cooked and enjoyed the patio, the neighborhood. We loved being part of the 'parade' that strolls down to the park or beach or town. Everyone is SO friendly. The beds and linens were luxurious. All in all - top notch, fond memories and a great time.

Excellent, Highly Recommend

The cottage is super clean, well stocked kitchen, and very cosy. It is located within a 2 minute walk to the lake which was perfect for us. The neighbour is very quaint and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

Quaint cottage

Nice cottage with all the amenities you need. The cottage is roomy, spotless and decorated nicely. I would recommend slippers if booking in the cooler months as the kitchen has no heat vents and is quite cool compared to the rest of the cottage. We would definitely book here again. This was our second visit to this cottage.

Serviceable

Some minor things I made certain to take pictures of during check-in process. Top 3 being the step between kitchen and living room (bows when stepped on), a large scratch on the living room floor which had been epoxies and one of the bathrooms had a cracked and re-plastered upper toilet lid. Owners were VERY persistent knocking at the front door first morning of our stay. We had previously communicated that we were attending a wedding that weekend. I feel knocking excessively like that was quite weird. I understand you may want to meet face to face but frankly knock twice, grab the ladder you wanted and return another time if you'd still like to meet. We did pay upfront and we were on vacation. It's not like it ruined our trip or anything but I do feel that I would be looking elsewhere if I were to revisit NotL The owners were not necessarily all that trusting. After all the knocking I had a cigarette while they were on the property and I was reminded to not flick cigarettes and use an ashtray....I pointed at the empty can I was actively using as an ashtray. Not exactly the first morning of my vacation I was hoping for. We did follow all rules as previously agreed and allowed them to grab their ladder and carry on. I don't know if they thought we were going to be troublemakers but I certainly know we are not going to be returning customers to these owners. I wish them the best regardless and I thank them for offering us a place to stay for the weekend.

Charming Weekend

Everything was as described. The charming cottage was clean, tidy, and very welcoming. The distance from the lake and a short walk to town was great for us. Shakespeare Hamlet Cottage

This is a very cute roomy cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Lots of room for two couples or a family to enjoy. We love being in Shakespeare Street so this was a great find for us. Owners were super nice and always answered our questions. Would definitely stay here again.
