“I arrived late due to work, and was met with nothing but warm welcome. I went straight to bed as an early start. I was offered breakfast at 7:30 so I could get on my way, which was cooked fresh and was brilliant. Top people, I’ll be back. ”

“This is the third occasion we have stayed at The Recruiting Sergeant and hopefully it won't be the last. We received a prompt and friendly check-in on arrival and were shown to our first-floor room which was a good size, as was the bathroom. Both were spotless and were kept that way for the duration of our 4 night stay. Overlooking the road caused us no concerns. Great choice of good quality food for breakfast and we had our evening meal there on 3 of the 4 nights. Superb choice of food and wine...
