“Friendly helpful staff. Courtyard room very small and although there was an air cooler it was useless. We took our Dyson fan with us and hardly slept on the first night. Definitely need air conditioning in bedroom. Very nice breakfast with good menu. Inside The Orange Tree we found it very tired and needed a thorough clean eg windows, window ledge and ornaments adjacent to our breakfast table. “There's a lot to praise at Dunston hall and you'll read about that elsewhere. I just want to point out one defect in the hope that someone at Dunston Hall will see this and take some action to prevent it happening again. We ate at the brasserie on 3 evenings and the cooking was, with one exception, very good. The exception was on the last night when one of my hasselback potatoes turned out to be bad .
