“Though this is an older building, it's very well kept, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are modern on the inside. Definitely has lots of nostalgic charm and the price is very fair. I would definitely stay again.”

“Loved the in room hot tub! The bed was way too big for the room, kept hitting our shins coming into the room. Did not like the cooking burner setup, I don’t think it even worked. The shower head did not have any pressure at all. The patio was nice and there was a great view, the area is nice but still reasonable close to the city.”

“I really love this place! It's worth what you pay, private rooms, and kind staff. If you're a 🍀 smoker, you will feel right at home! I've NEVER stayed at a place that was so welcoming and inviting about 🍀 smoking. Dennis is wonderful! They also cook your breakfast!! AND, they have 🍀-infused meals with advance notice! So worth it!!”

“Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Typical “gray” food found in any budget friendly hotel, but there was a terrific diner 1/2 block away. Laminate floors looked clean, but we spilled a large cup of water and moping it up proved they were not really very clean! Didn’t use the hot tub. Staff was fun and helpful”

“This hotel is under construction. Our rooms windows were covered outside (no view whatsoever) as they were actively jack hammering out front of the hotel by 8am. Down the hall a crew was active daily, so if you want to book a stay, be ready for some construction activity all around you. It's a beautiful old hotel in need of renovation, but unless you enjoy being in the middle, I'd book elsewhere in Manitou Springs until they finish the job.”

“Average hotel, the personnel is very friendly but the rooms are a bit noisy (a/c and highway). 10 minutes by car from downtown but without the car not much is available.”

“We reserved a queen room for 4 nights. There were at most 10 cars in the lot every night. The room was extremely small, we had to turn sideways to pass each other at the foot and side of the bed. The bed was a double, my bf is 6’2”. We asked for water at check-in, there was none available, it was “locked up”. Same thing the next day. We developed a rash after the second night, my bf on the backs of his legs and on my back. We requested maid service when we left for breakfast, we requested again...
