“Elevators in hotel were malfunctioning all weekend. Had to walk up and down 10 flights multiple times. No hot water in shower (overheard many guests saying they experienced the same). ”

“Overall, the stay was disappointing, with a few bright spots. Check-in was smooth although they let a lot of cars park in the front of the hotel, against their policy, which makes the walk a lot longer to get to the check in. and the staff were very friendly and clearly doing their best, especially considering it was opening weekend for the Pirates and the hotel was extremely busy. That said, the property itself needs significant improvement. Parking was unavailable when I arrived, which was...

“Beautiful place to stay. The only thing is when you turn on the heat, you smell the dog and if you don’t like the dog smell, it’s your room gonna smell like a dog but overall everything was great.”

“When you get off elevator you get overwhelmed with air freshener odors very strongly.. room was clean but odor of musty damp. Fact they use air fresheners to cover up musty smells i wouldn't stay again.. fix the issue not cover it up.. ”

“My family and I had a brief stay for a few appointments as we live over four hours away from Pittsburgh. We were so happy with our stay at the Crowne Plaza. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were always so happy and welcoming. Very peaceful and the beds were super comfy! We come to Pitt often and this hotel will be our new go to hotel. A+ in my book.”
