“This cabin along the Kennebec is so beautiful. The setting is just beyond the homeowner’s main house. Views from the cabin include the Kennebec and woodlands behind the home. We were there during a major heatwave in the early summer but the fans kept the air moving and made it so much more bearable. We want to come back during the fall to see the leaves and hike to the local waterfalls.”

“We stayed here with my family to celebrate my dad turning 60. It was such a relaxing place, we cooked out, had a fire, played lawn games, went out on the paddle boat, and had a great time. It’s not far from Monson General Store, which was a bonus. The property was exactly what I was looking for, comfortable, clean, and well stocked with everything you could need (plus coffee pods and s’mores stuff - thank you!!). If you would have a hard time climbing up ladder to bedroom they have another property next door with a larger and easier accessible bed. The owners live close and were very helpful. we toured with easier access to a larger bed. ”

“The location was beautiful, right on the river and beautiful views. Close to trails for ATV. The Rockwood bar and grill fed us two nights and we enjoyed it! The home was cozy and had the essentials. We enjoyed spending time in the downstairs living room. “This property was exactly how it was listed. Kitchen was well stocked and there was enough Bath towels and other towels for swimming. My grandchildren had so much fun on the lake with the tubes and Kayaks that we brought along with us. If you want relaxing and fresh air this is the place to go.
