It's a great place to stay if you want to be an easy, short ride to some awesome trails and you just need a reliable home bass to hang out, get a good, hot shower, make some food, and get some sleep before heading out to do your outdoor activities. Not suitable if you're seeking luxury. But it's a great place otherwise. The owners are planning some upgrades over time, and it was already upgraded some since our last stay. Hanging out in the hot tub, grilling good food and chilling being warm by the fire. Honestly would recommend just bringing a bunch of food to stock the fridge and hanging up the keys for the duration of your stay.
