“Myself, husband, and dog enjoyed our weekend stay at the chalet after the busy holidays. Upon arrival we were greeted by Evan, who explained the property and gave us his contact for anything we may need during our stay. We did reach out for more firewood for the wood burning stove and he was there immediately with another bundle for us. “Spectacular views! Wonderful accommodations with photos of the Von Trapp family throughout. Excellent offerings on the History of this famous family. Dinner was superb and again, breathtaking views. Unfortunately we did not have the allotted time to take in all that the resort has to offer guests in tours, walkabouts, etc. I would definitely recommend and we will return. ”

“This was a great place to stay to see the beautiful fall foliage. From the booking to the check out everything went very smoothly. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was nice to have access to the hot tub and swimming pool. The hiking/walking trails around the grounds were easily accessible. ”

Hotel in general - where we have stayed multiple times going back to nearly its opening many years ago - is getting just a bit tired but it still offers a superior experience. A couple noticeable stains on the wall-to-wall carpet in our studio suite but otherwise our unit was in very good shape. ”
