“Stayed two nights. Lovely hosts. The only point of improvement we had was that tap water was not drinkable, so there was a large bottle on the counter instead. Understood that the area is in a deep drought in fall 2025. Outdoor shower was a treat. Property very interesting if you are a horticulture buff, quite the history on this site!”

“What a wonderful place this turned out to be for our first ever visit to Nova Scotia. Our host left a few pleasant surprises to welcome us to her farmhouse and we loved them. All our needs were met and our party of 8 felt right at home. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels for everyone (which is important when you have a large group). “We stayed here for 3 nights as a family (5 people). The location was good for us, though a bit far from amenities. The host (Uli) was very communicative. He advised us to stock up on supplies before arrival, which we did. Maggies is a pretty home in a lovely setting, surrounded by trees and set back from the road.
