Great Place - Great Location

My family had a lovely stay at Sea Watch, a condominium perfectly situated in the heart of Ocean City and with lots of great amenities itself. Our condo was as close to the beach as it gets, being both low to the ground and right on the beach. The condo had everything one would need while actually in it! Multiple beds, multiple full bathrooms, DirecTV, WiFi, lots of TVs, a kitchen, a laundry room, and beach gear to borrow. We highly recommend!

Gem on the beach

The unit is well equipped with all that we needed for our stay. We appreciated the washer and dryer and items available for use in the laundry room. The Sea Watch building employees were very friendly and helpful and keep the grounds and amenities clean and well presented. Vacasa was easy to work with. The beds in the unit were a bit uncomfortable and cleaning staff could stand to clean behind stands and under beds but we were very happy otherwise and the unit is just as pictured. Great location and view of the beach. We loved Ocean City and would not hesitate to book this unit again.

Exceeded expectations!

Our family had the pleasure to stay in one of the best properties we've rented to date. We entered a spotless and completely bug-free (for a whole week!) condo that met every need we had. Our two small children had a great time exploring and the hotel property had everything we needed to entertain them. The sand playground was an excellent change of scenery while still having sand, and the proximity to the beach was AMAZING. When you have 2 under 3, you have a lot of stuff to carry, so being so close was amazing for the cost. We did have some smelly sheets (I think the laundry, not the cleanliness), and the rental company was prompt in their response and resolution. We had no further issues. Like many other reviews, the beds were not terribly comfortable, but it wasn't a deal breaker. The views, the location, the quiet, and the cleanliness were superb. Will try to stay here again in the future!!!

Beautiful,clean,very well kept property.

No complaints! The dryer didn’t work and the onsite maintenance fixed it after a call to management within an hour. Really nice area, security was great.

Location Great! Unit Not!

While we enjoyed visiting Ocean City, this condo did not meet our expectations. We were disappointed that we tried to pay off our stay early multiple times with messages and phone calls going unreturned through Vacasa. We found out through other reviews/message boards we needed to download the app to pay our balance off. When we arrived to the property, it did not appear clean and smelled as if it had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. There were dust bunnies/hair all over the floors. The coffee table had not been dusted and was covered in food crumbs/dirt. There were food crumbs in/on the couch and the floor in the main living room. The bathtub had a ring of dirt around the bottom. The sheets in the master bedroom appeared to have a blood stain on them. (These were replaced the next day as we got in late and Vacasa had already left their office). The comforters in both bedrooms had stains on them and did not appear to be washed between guests. Both beds were uncomfortable, however the master bedroom was the worst, as you could not even turn in the bed without the headboard slamming the wall. We were.very disappointed in the outdoor furniture as the cushions for the chairs were filthy and in a laundry hamper (not sure why) and the table was also completely covered in gunk. It was a shame because the views from the balcony were beautiful. The Sea Watch building itself had wonderful amenities and we utilized the indoor pool and playground a lot. The beach access was great. Being on the first floor was very convenient, which was why we chose this unit over others, however in the future we would not book this unit again.

Perfect place for family beach time!

I loved the location, especially this unit being on the 1st floor. I was worried about pool noise, but the windows/sliding glass doors blocked out all outside sounds. We did not need to wait for elevators and stairs were right outside our door. We had a maintenance issue. The handyman came the next day, was very polite, and quickly fixed this issue. I like the extra touches of dish soap, dish clothes and sponges being provided. Facility was great, kids loved the arcade and different pool options. I would recommend this unit to any family.

Good deal for the price

The unit was a fair value for what we paid. The location was great and the view was nice. The info we were originally given stated we would receive 2 parking spaces for $40, this was not correct (it was only one space), but the listing has been updated since we stayed. It also states that the unit has a private washer and dryer, which is one of the reasons I booked there. It does NOT have it's own washer and dryer, they are located in the hall outside the unit and are shared. We were there for 5 days, and were not given the key to access it until late in the afternoon on the 4th day. It took us several emails and phone calls, starting the day we arrived, to get the key which was supposed to be left for us, but was not (maybe the previous guests accidentally took it home with them?) Once we received the key, we still could not do any laundry as the washer and dryer were full of someone else's sheets and towels the entire rest of our stay. Aside from that, the unit was as pictured. The closets and drawers were a bit messy but not dirty (aside from rumbled Kleenex inside the bedroom drawers and some pills on the floor near the baseboards), and the floor needed a good cleaning (hair and dust bunnies under the table). There are plenty of tv's in the unit which is nice if you end up with some rainy days but several of the remotes had dead or missing batteries. The WiFi info we were given did not work (the network name didn't exist), so we used the data and hotspots from our phones to run internet services on our devices. The beds were comfy which is always a plus.
