Welcome to "7 Palms" an award-winning 3BR 3BA home with striking high end finishes and beautiful furnishings. This mid-century modern luxury home won San Diego Home & Garden Magazine's Best Remodel in 2008. The home features a hot tub, AC, ceiling fans, it is fully stocked for all your cooking needs in the gourmet kitchen and it is minutes from the beach.

The living area and the front porch patio has a distant ocean view. The living room has a great room feel and lends to the easy living feeling carried through out this home. You and your guests will enjoy a Mad Men/Fabulous 50's setting will all the modern upgrades - HDTV, free high-speed internet service, a SONOS whole-house music system, honor wine bar, 3 fireplaces and large hot tub spa. The many designer touches and amenities lift this home well above the usual vacation home rental. There is a fully-fenced in spacious backyard with an outdoor gas fireplace, gas grill, and plenty of room to soak up some California sunshine which is plentiful year round.

Our family met for Christmas here and had such a wonderful stay. The house was spectacular. We enjoyed the hot tub, bikes, kitchen equipment, sound system… you name it. It’s just as pictured and suited our adult family quite well.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST VRBO EXPERIENCE AND IT WAS MORE THAN WE EXPECTED. BEFORE WE ARRIVED THERE WAS PLENTY OF COMMUNICATION FROM THE PROPERTY MANAGERS AND OWNERS. CHECKIN WAS A NON-EVENT [JUST GET THE FRONT DOOR KEY AND LET YOURSELF IN}. EVERYTHING AND MORE WAS THERE TO SET-UP HOUSEKEEPING. NICE QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD, EVENING BREEZES. THE DISTANCE TO THE BEACH WOULD BE TO FAR FOR SMALL CHILDERN TO WALK. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND VRBO AND THIS HOUSE TO ANYONE.

This house was absolutely beautiful, clean and had every comfort we could ask for! The management team were easy and great to work with! We loved the backyard fireplace and gorgeous setting! Can’t wait to come back and enjoy this place again!

It has everything we needed. Close proximity to pier, beach and downtown, quiet neighborhood, stuff for beach(wagon, chairs, etc.), we used k-cups and didn’t bother to read manual on espresso machine, but that is like commercial use machine. Wifi connection to internet was a bit spotty at times (good connection to home network tho), but the area (well greater Sandiego county) has great cell coverage. Plenty of storage and loved that shower in bedroom down stairs. We’ll plan keep as we return to that area every year

Really unique modern home with an amazing back yard oasis. My family thoroughly enjoyed our 4th of July. The kitchen has every imaginable tool or appliance you could need. We walked down to the beach most mornings but if you have a lot of beach gear you will want to drive but we never had a problem parking. Tip would be to bring hand soap, garbage bags, and laundry soap. Thank you Jon for sharing your home with me and my family!

This home is beautifully appointed. Very high end . The owners take superb care that their renters have a wonderful experience during their stay. It is the nicest rental we have ever seen. Lovely yard, great beds, nice view. I can't say enough about it. Definitely recommend it for a lovely getaway. Also, Mclain Properties are the most responsive property managers that I have ever dealt with. Always promptly returned calls, and took care of any and all issues very quickly.
