Escape to the tranquility of Lake Livingston at The Gathering Place & Guest House, a spacious 7-bedroom retreat nestled on the north side of the lake. Enjoy breathtaking views, private fishing pier, boat dock, and a cozy fire pit – the perfect setting for unforgettable family gatherings or peaceful getaways.

Lake Access: Lakefront with a private pier and boat dock. Guests can swim in the water at their own risk 3-4ft deep

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed.

Large Groups: We love hosting church groups and large family gatherings, however groups over the size of 16 guests must be approved prior to booking.

Parking: There is room for one car in the driveway in front of the main house, plus 6 additional cars outside the guest house in the driveway.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

This unique, hilltop home unfolds in a surprising two-story layout. Expansive windows on both levels showcase the panoramic lake views, bathing the open-concept living space in warm, natural light. Here, family and friends gather effortlessly in the spacious living area, sharing stories and laughter. The chef in your group will delight in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with ample counter space, double ovens, and a walk-in pantry – the perfect canvas for creating culinary masterpieces.

On this level, three inviting bedrooms await, each offering a peaceful space after a day of lakeside fun. The king suite provides a luxurious escape, while the additional king bedroom with a twin bed offers flexibility for families or groups. A third queen bedroom ensures everyone finds their perfect sleep sanctuary. An patio on this level provides a second outdoor space to soak in the surrounding beauty.

The lower level is an area for both fun and relaxation. A lively bunk room, complete with two full-over-full bunks, air hockey, an arcade game, and a flat-screen TV, guarantees endless entertainment for kids and kids-at-heart. The home’s fifth bedroom, also located on the lower level, offers a queen bed and two twins, providing additional flexibility for sleeping arrangements. This level also features direct access to the backyard and a private patio, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living.

The charming guest house, tucked away from the main residence, provides an oasis of privacy. Two bedrooms, one with a king and the other with a queen and a full-over-full bunk bed, comfortably accommodate additional guests. Its own open-concept living area invites relaxation and quiet moments

Outdoors, adventure beckons. Cast a line off the private fishing pier, launch your boat from the dock for a day of lake exploration, or simply bask in the sun's warmth. As evening descends, the fire pit becomes a focal point for shared stories and roasted marshmallows under a starry Texas sky.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 16 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- No jumping or diving into the water. Children must be supervised at all times.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.
