“I liked the friendly service, especially a confirmation call on Saturday afternoon I believe. That was very thoughtful. In addition, we were guided in the perfect parking area based off of where our room was located. The room was very spacious and we were able control our AC, some locations are very challenging to work. ”

“Staying at this bed and breakfast was like stepping into another time. The mansion is beautifully preserved, and every room has its own unique personality, like an art gallery at every turn. Even the music playing throughout the mansion during breakfast made you feel transported. Jim and Susie were so warm and welcoming. They waited up for us when we arrived late, gave us a thoughtful tour, and somehow still had the energy to make us feel completely at home. Over breakfast the next morning...

“My husband and I enjoyed the rest and relaxation in this cozy cottage in a picturesque setting. Location is about 20-30 minute (beautiful!) drive from several cute Catskill towns and Oneonta, where our son was playing baseball. We truly unplugged in this cozy home. Highlight was sitting by a fire enjoying a delicious charcuterie board/wine (go to Good Taste Epicurian Market in Franklin!). Thanks for hosting us!”

“This is a great little cottage on a very small lake. It was perfect. It's bigger than what you see in the pictures and very well kept. It is right down on the water, although it was ice while were there. LOL It was still perfect for a quiet get away. ”
