Unfortunately, our recent stay at this property was far from what we expected. The house is in noticeably poor condition and clearly hasn’t been well maintained in quite some time. There were scratches and questionable stains all over the walls and floors, as well as gum embedded into the carpet. The so-called "game room" was completely unusable. Air hockey is literally broken and lopsided and pool table has a huge tear in the felt that makes it non-functional. A lot of the locks don’t work on the doors as well (bedrooms and bathrooms).Basic essentials were also lacking. Not every bathroom had hand towels, and there were no oven mitts in the kitchen. We had to use a bath towel to handle hot items. One of the beds had no comforter, just sheets. Another bed had a flat sheet knotted together to make it into a fitted sheet. Upon arrival, we found 2 pairs of goggles and multiple chunks of hair in the pool (yes, it’s as gross as it sound).. which tells me it wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival. The water was also very cloudy, and left yellow stains on any of our white bathing suits. We were traveling with a large group and were especially disappointed to find that the pictures do not accurately depict seating at the dining room table. There were 6 less seats in person than pictured. We later found 4/6 chairs outside being used with the outdoor patio furniture, which was all chintzy and mismatched. Property has potential, but would not rent again in this condition!
