“The place was very nice in appearance. However, the owner made my wife feel very uncomfortable by asking a very personal question just before breakfast, about her appearance that was not warranted nor welcome. I thought the bed and breakfast experience was about making your guests feel welcome in your home, without prejudice. I didn’t realize that we had to fit a pre conceived mould in order to stay there. Needless to say, we did not stay for breakfast. I would not recommend this...

“Ida and David were the most wonderful hosts! We were stopping in brockville during a bikepacking trip and they welcomed us and our bikes. The breakfast was incredible, Ida was happy to get up early to make sure we were fueled for the day and had our bottles filled with cold water. The rooms are spacious, and have everything you need. There are three very good restaurants within a 5 min walking distance. Location is truly perfect - on a quiet street but close to everything. We would definitely...

“EXPEDIA should be ashamed of themselves to have a property in their system of this caliber!! This is CANADA. We have much higher standards than this. Upon arrival, the door/screen door was wide open and upon entering there was NOBODY in the whole house. I called the phone number of the Mamora Inn and got a person who said " write your name & particulars on the paper at the desk and let yourself in, I will be back there at 9:30p" (this was at 4p). “Really enjoyed our stay. The host was super friendly and welcoming. Don’t miss the lake across the road — we saw a swan there. The room was comfortable, with great showers, and you can tell the host has great taste from the art and furniture. Sandbanks is about a 20-minute drive away. The best part was sitting by the bonfire at night and watching the stars in the dark. Such a peaceful stay.”
