“Location is ideal for canyon lake. I had trouble with the lock when I first arrived and the owner was reachable and helpful. Unfortunately the room was less than ideal and did not look like the pictures on expedia. It smelled moldy and musty, the shower had significant amounts of mildew/mold. As a solo woman traveler I would have appreciated a more secure room. The owner has access to the room and there is no internal lock to feel more secure. “Loved our stay at Petit Cowboy. The room was awesome, super clean, really cute, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. The whole property has a great vibe. The pool is huge and having a shallow area for the kids made it even better. Being right along the river just makes it feel kind of magical. We’ll definitely be back.”
