assolutamente perfetto
abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento in occasione di un viaggio con i nostri genitori ottuagenari (5 persone in totale). Ci siamo trovati benissimo: la casa è dotata di ogni confort, cucina attrezzatissima completa di tutti i possibili elettrodomestici ed utensili, ben arredata, accogliente, luminosa e - dettaglio comodissimo - con parcheggio. Casa curata in ogni dettaglio, davvero complimenti al proprietario, che con grande disponibilità ci ha assistito telefonicamente in ogni richiesta. Noi eravamo in visita a nostro figlio che studia ad Oxford e ci siamo mossi solo in auto vista anche l'età dei genitori, ma a poca distanza ci sono negozi e ristoranti. Soluzione eccellente per visitare la città di Oxford e anche Blenheim che è davvero a pochi km. Il nostro giudizio è : PERFETTA e CONSIGLIATISSIMA

Comfortable and well-equipped apartment north of central Oxford
My elderly mother and I had a good stay at the apartment while visiting my child at Oxford U recently. The apartment is within easy walking distance of shops in Summertown, and a bus route to the centre of Oxford. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped with all one needs. There is no fan in the bathroom, which was a big dark and musty, but otherwise tip-top. Walls in the building are thin, but the neighbours were all quiet so that was no problem. The owner responded extremely quickly to messages - the cleaners had not advised him of certain issues, but he addressed them promptly when we did so. I find the lock box system a bit complicated/stressful, especially when leaving to get a bus to the airport, but it works well as long as you have instructions in-hand. I would recommend a sheet of instructions on how to use appliances for future visitors, especially those of us from North America not as familiar with UK appliances (e.g., the washer/dryer in-onea, what kind of soap/detergent to use in the dishwasher, etc.) :-)

An Oxford Christmas
My family stayed here for a week over the Christmas holiday. We buzzed through London in four days and were thrilled to be able to slow down and relax in Oxford. The apartment provided space for all of us to spread out...very important for my two teenagers. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. And, it was well located. We were not in the bustle of the City Centre, though buses were nearby and downtown was only 10 minutes away. We could even walk if the weather was nice. Also, shopping in Summertown was very convenient, so we did not feel isolated when we returned to the flat for the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed for the occasional meals at home. And, we really appreciated the washing machine and a good shower. A very good family option. Many thanks to Danny for the hospitality.

Prime Location
Excellent location for exploring Oxford area being about a 30 minute walk to Oxford city center. Summertown shops and restaurants just around corner (we highly recommend Mamma Mia’s!). The apartment was clean and orderly and in a very quiet location set back from the main (Woodstock) road. Beds were comfortable but being used to a queen we found the double bed a bit narrow. The shower was excellent but the toilet flush was a bit temperamental and the bathroom sink had VERY low water pressure. Kitchen was well equipped and Dan even left us tea, coffee, milk and bread which was a lovely surprise! We were not big fans of the induction stove but others may be used to this (hot plate turns off if you maneuver the pan - a safety feature I believe but we found it frustrating to cook on). All in all we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Absolutely the best feature here was the free parking in a designated garage - parking in Oxford is non existent! Also thank you Dan for the visitor’s parking passes which allowed my brother and sister in law to visit from London for a day. We visited the Ashmolean which I also highly recommend.

Perfect loc
We loved our stay in Oxford. We were there for 3 weeks and felt very at home. Danny is beyond kind and responsive. This flat was great for my family, the kitchen is well stocked, there is a table for 6 people and a hutch. There's even a little desk for your computer. Having a washer/dryer is a life saver. The bathroom is a very nice size and the shower is large, which isn't our typical VRBO experience in the UK and Europe. Plenty of room to move around and wash your hair without banging your elbows (if you know, you know). The beds are smaller than we are used to (which we knew when booking), but VERY comfortable mattresses. Bedrooms are equipped with hampers and wardrobes/closets. The living room is spacious. There were 3 of us and we had a couple of friends over to visit and we all fit comfortably. The living room has great sofas, probably the most comfortable I've had at a VRBO. The TV is set up with all the streaming services we could ever want. The location is SUPER convenient. The street is right off Woodstock with is a main street into Oxford. The bus stop is just at the end of the driveway from the flat. We had a weekly bus pass and you can get to town in about 5 minutes by bus. Some days we just walked because it's only 2 miles to central Oxford. Around the corner and down the street is the main stretch of Summertown with tons of shops and restaurants. I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely flat, very quiet.
Close to Oxford and an easy walk to groceries, we were very satisfied with this flat. Danny is a very attentive host who helped us in any way that he could. City break.
Easy location for getting into Oxford, good restaurants a few minutes walk away. Kitchen and bathroom have both clearly been refreshed, but decor tired in rest of flat. Comfortable beds. We felt our car was too large for the suggested parking places and may have caused obstruction, but we parked easily 2 roads away, and were out during the day. We enjoyed a day and a half in Oxford and a drive into the Cotswolds. Parking in Westgate Centre was excellent. Super meal at Quad in the covered courtyard.

Thanks for your kind review, Louise. I'm glad that you guys were able to take a drive our to the Cotswolds. With all that Oxford has to offer, people often forget that this incredible area is also right on your doorstep! I'm sorry that you felt the decor was tired. We had the place repainted throughout 18 months ago, but scuffs in the paintwork happen from time to time. While we touch these up wherever we see them, the they do sometimes get missed, and I'm sorry if you felt things didn't look as good as they could've. Schöne Wohnung in ruhiger Lage
Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse ca. 3km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Zur Wohnung gehört auch eine Garage, sehr angenehm in Oxford, wenn man mit dem Auto Urlaub macht. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben, gute Küchenausstattung, sehr gutes WLAN (wir waren zu 5 und merkten keine Einschränkungen), schönes Smart TV. Gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt um die Ecke, nach Oxford rein kann man laufen oder den Bus nehmen - wir sind immer gelaufen, dauert ca. 35-40 min und ist ein guter Start um Oxford zu erleben. Besonders schön ist der Spaziergang am Kanal entlang. Check-in und Check-out geht schnell, durch die Verwendung einer Schlüsselbox ist man völlig unabhängig von Ankunfts- und Abfahrtzeiten. Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Wohnung für einen entspannten Oxford Urlaub.

This was the perfect little flat for visiting Oxford. Located just on the bus line, about a 15 minute trip into City Center. Also within walking distance of Summertown for shopping and a few restaurants. Well-equipped small kitchen, bathroom apparently recently upgraded with a terrific shower. Comfortable beds. Sofas are a bit low to the ground (tall husband was somewhat uncomfortable). Danny was very responsive whenever I had a question. Flat was clean and quiet. Set in a cul-de-sac so the traffic noise was minimized. Would rent again.

A lovely light flat in central location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Danny's lovely flat! The flat is exactly as pictured on the website and is thoughtfully furnished with everything one could need. The kitchen is really well stocked - one could do lots of cooking although we preferred to eat out! The location is ideal for central Oxford ( about 5 minutes bus ride to town) and within easy walking distance of the Summertown shops and bus stops and cafés. Danny was extremely helpful and responded to all of my queries very quickly. The information given about the flat is very complete. The only slight glitch was the key safe by the front door which we found hard to open. We managed though and all was well! I would definitely recommend this flat and owner! Thank you Danny!

The property provided the accomodation we wanted at a very good location.Easy access to city centre.
The property was in good clean condition on arrival and the owner was helpful and sorted out additional parking. It was furnished to a good standard and the Kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The local area had all the facilities we needed and the City Centre was only 25 to 30 minutes walk away along the main road or along the Oxford canal.

Eine tolle Wohnung
Wir haben fast eine Woche mit unserer erwachsenen Tochter in der Wohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, mit richtig guten Betten, einem modernen Bad und einer Küche mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Überhaupt ist die Wohnung ruhig gelegen, aber dennoch fährt man mit dem Bus nur ca. 10 Minuten in den Stadtkern von Oxford. Die Bushaltestelle ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt und die guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur einige Fussminuten. Es hat uns wirklich gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect Place to Stay in Oxford
My colleague and I stayed at this lovely apartment while attending an annual conference in Oxford. It is just as advertised and was just perfect for our needs. Very bright and the view from the bedrooms is private yet open vista with great view of the tennis courts. Great way to wake up in the morning. Well appointed kitchen. Spacious living area. Just a few steps from the bus stop, which takes you to city center in about 5 minutes. Will definitely book the next time in Oxford. Thanks Danny!

Die Lage der FeWo ist für einen Kurzurlaub in und um Oxford ideal. Zur Bushaltestelle in die Stadt sind es nur wenige Meter. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurant um die Ecke. Die Ausstattung der FeWo ist wie beschrieben. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter läuft problemlos.

Thoroughly recommended! The apartment was comfortable, spotless, and extremely well equipped. There was tea, coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper, dishwasher and laundry tabs, plentiful pans and utensils, loads of toilet roll, leaflets on the local area, alarm clocks, laundry baskets, a high chair and travel cot for our baby, an extension cable, even sellotape - everything you could possibly need! The location was also perfect, in a pleasant and quiet close set back from the Woodstock road, an easy 10 minute bus ride into Oxford town centre with regular buses and the stop only a minute or two away. Check-in and out was easy, with a lock box and code to get the keys, so no need to coordinate with the owner, who was nonetheless very helpful with a couple of minor queries. Next time I’m in Oxford I’ll definitely stay here again!

Very nice flat, friendly owner, good location !
The five of us had a very nice stay in this lovely flat ! Arranged with good taste, it is equiped with all the furnitures and home appliance you need to feel perfectly cosy. The location is pretty good, approximatively 1 mile away from the city center, in a quiet neighborhood, few minutes away by feet from groceries, restaurants, etc. Bus stops is easily reachable by feet, so you can go to the city centre in approximatively fifteen minutes. Danny is a friendly guest, very helpful, and he answers quickly and kindly to any question. A special thank for the bottle of wine, which is actually a very kind touch ! I clearly recommend this rental.

Accommodation as described, even had some small extras we hadn’t expected I.e cafetière, herbs, oils a home from home really & a lovely gift from the owners of a bottle of red wine. The bus stop was only 2 min walk & the buses ran every 15mins, ideal location for seeing the sights and not spending too much time every day travelling. Would have no hesitation in recommending & staying there again if in Oxford.

Lovely property in great location.
We loved staying here. The apartment was clean, bright and well equipped. The perfect place to relax after a days sight seeing. It is also perfectly located. Summertown with all it's shops and restaurants is just a very short walk away. The bus stop to Oxford is just on the corner and it's close to all the main routes in and out. We would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully willl be back ourselves. It's the perfect base for exploring Oxford and it's surrounding areas.

We stayed for a week over Christmas. The flat is spacious and comfortable. It is 5 minutes walk to bars, restaurants and shop of Summer Town, Oxford. It is a couple of minutes walk to bus stop for regular buses into the centre of town if you don't want to walk. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, and modern
This was our first experience with a VRBO and we were not disappointed. Danny obviously takes a great deal of pride in this property and the kitchen was even more updated than the pictures showed since it now has a new back splash and a vent hood. Overall a very spacious and clean apartment. Danny was very helpful before and during the trip with transportation questions and one question about the heaters. He had even left a bottle of wine for our enjoyment. Our daughter had been part of a study abroad in Oxford connected with her American university and we chose this location because it was only a mile from where she had stayed. This made it central to everything she wanted to show us. The kitchen was well supplied and we were easily able to shop at the CoOp or Tesco and enjoy a meal together. The apartment is very close to Banbury Road which is a main road through Oxford and has many places to eat and shop. It was also very easy to catch a bus to take us into the center of the city. We received our refund on the deposit exactly a week after we left the apartment. If you would like to feel like you actually live in Oxford this is a great location.

Vielen lieben Dank für einen tollen Aufenthalt in Oxford
Die Wohnung ist gut beschrieben und bietet alles, wie es in der Beschreibung steht. Die Schlafzimmer sind ausreichend groß und haben unterschiedlich große Schränke. Das Bad ist ohne Fenster, aber trotzdem komplett in Ordnung. Das Wohnzimmer bietet viel Platz und eine nette Essecke - auch hier sind noch Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Die Küche ist komplett und funktional - der Induktionsherd ist super! Nur ein paar Trockentücher hätten noch mehr da sein dürfen. Die Wohnung liegt etwas abseits der Hauptstraße und damit ruhig. Zum Bus in die Stadt sind es nur wenige Meter. Zu Fuß kann man am Oxford-Canal wunderschön die 3 km zum Zentrum laufen. Besser geht es nicht. Auch zum Blenheim-Castle, in die Cotswolds etc. ist man schnell gelangt. Einkaufen in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß sehr gut möglich. Kurzum: alles super und wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

We rented the apartment for 10 days. The apartment is very sunny, clean and confortable. Perfect location to visit Oxford and surrounding areas. The apartment comes with parking an extra plus - we even had dinner in London one night. Highly recommend it. We will rent it again next time we go to Oxford. PS Danny the owner left us a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift.

Comfortable, Quiet and Not Far From Oxford Centre
Sunny living room, large, well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms and an easy-to-use bathroom. On second floor, but not too long a walk-up. Parking available near the property, which is on a bus line. Grocery and other stores within five minutes walk. Excellent value for money. Easy to deal with Danny, the owner. I would recommend this property to anyone.
