Hotel in zona Paradise Valley, Cresco

“Service was good. The hotel is old. The hallway was smelling fresh. Our bathroom had some mold spots. I am suggesting that this is from the steam shower because the vent is not working. The room lighting is poor. Aside from that, I love that a Dunkin Donut was part of the hotel.”

“We ended up not staying the night. There was no on site staff. The room was cold, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water was ice cold, even after running for 10 or so minutes, as the contact person told us to do. We booked the room with the hot tub, which wasn’t usable, so they put us in a room with a jacuzzi tub, not the same thing. Lastly there was a fitted sheet on the bed, but no top sheet under the comforter, which didn’t feel like luxury bedding as...

“Handicap parking unavailable first night. Car parked with no plaque. Rain, the whole weekend, water puddles everywhere. Second night got handicapped spot, water puddles, so deep. Doors were supposed to be open at 7am were locked all day.. Room Key cut off at by 10am on check out Day. Notice while attempting to load my vehicle. “The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

“The hotel location is great near restaurants and specialty shops. Staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel needs to focus on its maintenance specifically in the bathroom area. In our second day we had to change rooms due to no hot water in our room. The front desk staff assisted with our issue right away. Free parking was great.”

“For the price we paid, this hotel was great overall. The hotel is currently under renovation, so there were construction materials and work debris in parts of the floor/hallway. The room itself was decent and pretty typical for a 2-star hotel, but there was a noticeable smell of mildew or fresh paint that hadn’t fully dried yet. Exactly what I needed for a 1 night stay. Pictures of rooms and the grounds were accurate. The only thing that I wish was different was the rug in the room. I wouldve preferred tile or wood. However I would still stay here again if Im ever in the area. Also close to town, shops, restaurants.”
