“My wife and I stayed 2 nights. The room was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed on the 4th floor and our room had exposed ceiling beam's part of the ceiling was pitched with an eye dormer with a front view. The hotel was situated directly across the Harbor with private access to the restaurants and shops on Water Street. The breakfast was provided was a continental breakfast which was good. The only negative would be the 4th floor isn’t accessible by the elevator so you have to take the elevator to...

“Moldy. Damp, lots of drug addicts pop out of everywhere, in lobby and parking lot. Very sketchy. Hard to breathe in the rooms. No air, very moist, only felt better when left the room. Very moldy you can feel it, . The rooms were wet stuffy.windows do not open.. The washroom fans don’t even work. It’s surrounded by drug attics and drunks. Very uncomfortable. Loved St. John’s hated the hotel so much.”

“It’s just really really old and therefore a bit dingy and crooked and carpet in entrance and stairs appear dirty. Room and bathroom in our king suite was very clean and roomy. Best bed out of 2 other hotels on our stay. Plaster and paint repair could help make it nicer. Staff was quick and attentive with simple requests. Window ac kept it cool and street noise at bay. Excellent location.”
