“An almost satisfactory stay in what could be a fabulous hotel. Of note: Staff were very helpful and friendly. The interior of the hotel is nice enough. I stayed in a recently refurbished room which was clean and fresh. There are little bits that make it seem that corners have been cut though - no safe in the room and no do not disturb sign or similar to let housekeeping know you're sleeping. “Our room, on the first floor, was excellent with lovely views. The food was of a high quality and the service was very good except on one of our three evenings when we were forgotten about and it took at least three complaints to get our meal started.
