“We stayed in Room 3, if the other rooms were as great as ours then it would be hard to beat this location. The view of the river and sunset were awesome. The restaurant service would be hard to beat anywhere and the food was excellent. All in all we loved our stay at Surry Seafood Inn.”

“A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! ”

“Upon arrival at 4:00 P.M., the hotel had no electricity. Not their fault but there was no one at the desk or anywhere near it. I went outside to find a man in a sleeveless tee shirt to ask if there was anyone who worked there. It was him. We got into the hotel at 10:00, no word of any kind of compensation. Free breakfast was a coffee machine that didn't work right, a few small muffins, granola bars and goldfish bags. There was no ice on floors 2 and 3 for 5 days. We had adjoining rooms with my...
