Room was spacious and cute, but a little dated. Visible mold in ventilation and shower leaked because door didn't seal. It required housekeeping to give us excessive towels to keep room from flooding. Door lock chain fell out of drywall. Had small fridge, but wish it had a microwave.
Housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating!
Three restaurants on property. Food was tasty, but service often slow. We waited for 30 minutes at an outside table (Wigwam bar) and just left, as no one came, though they said "they'd be right with us". Also, staff there on other days was very unfriendly. Red Allens Restaurant had a much better vibe and friendly staff. Great manager checking on everything as well. Food tastier there than Wigwam restaurant. Litchfield restaurant was nice, but quite pricey.
As we were walking to dinner, a staff member told us to walk on the grass and not the sidewalk, so staff golfcarts and don't hit us. Weird! Everyone at the resort walks on the sidewalks, so not sure why he stopped us. Odd. Grass was muddy due to the irrigation, so we walked on the sidewalks anyway..just annoyed why he told us that.
Finally, pool was lovely. However it was FREEZING. It gets cold at night in AZ, so they should heat it more. Saw about 6 people swimming during our entire stay.
Overall, it was fine. Price was reasonable, but likely wouldnt stay there again. There are nicer resorts with better amenities, value and friendlier staff.
