Highly recommend this Empress Palace ( Hotel stays ) to friends.”

“The 1 night room charge was excessively overpriced due to FIFA going on in Vancouver. We had no reason to stay in Surrey but it was the best hotel option within 1 hour’s drive for BC Ferries to get back home to Nanaimo. I’m still feeling sick about being forced to spend 3-5x the normal price of a hotel because of soccer fans! It might have been cheaper just to change our flights so in the future that’s what I will do to avoid being screwed like this hotel charge was.”

“The owners were great. The only issue was the room was separated from the washroom and the sofa was dominated by another lady staying there. There was no place to relax.”
