Hotel vicino a Pixieland - Concord

“The hotel is clean, quite far from San Francisco, and has few dining options nearby. The rooms were large but, despite the double glazing, too noisy if facing the road. Breakfast was very poor no matter what time you arrived. The water pressure in both the sink and the shower was very low. Not recommended for more than one night.”

“Clean and comfortable. Just what I needed. A efficient and friendly staff. New rooms. Nice beds. The location is close to a lot of restaurants within a 10 minute walk but I wouldn’t call the neighborhood walkable. I would stay again if I need to come to Concord. ”

“It's not most attractive on the outside. Inside was clean, roomy, functional. The bed was comfortable. My only question, though not necessarily a complaint, was no shampoo, etc ? ”

“I was pleasantly surprised at how nice my stay was. I had a room upstairs in the indoor part of the building. I enjoyed the quiet and privacy. Everything about it was Pleasant. It's not a new building, so giving it a rating doesn't really accurately describe how pleased I was. I've stayed at newer hotels that were less Charming and less clean. and towels provided”

“There are no WiFi in the place ”

“The room was beautiful, spacious, but frankly the bed was too soft and the edges felt worn down. If you have a bad back and need a firm mattress, this won't do. Not sure if any alternative would be available - I confess I did not ask. Nice selection at breakfast, but the quality of some items was severely lacking. Bread and bagels seemed stale, and I'm not sure how one messes up bacon, but the first problem was probably that it was paper thin. I did not try the other hot items, but the eggs...

“Tom at the front desk is very personable and kind, definitely felt special! Unfortunately, the pool and jacuzzi were broken and the elevator needs some maintenance. Had to push the button 3 times for it to open! Staff at breakfast was pleasant and bed was comfortable”

“Nice hotel, not the most plush or modern Marriott, but it is clean and the location is convenient. It's a little hard to get in and out of as you can only enter on Main, not Parkside, which requires you to head down a ways before you can make a U turn if approaching the hotel from the south. Also, our room had a lovely view of a wall which affects every room in the north wing facing east and east wing facing north. Be forewarned. ”
