“There was no one at the desk when we were trying to check in. There was a line waiting and I called the number shown at the service desk and it just rang back at the desk. I finally called again and the clerk came in from outside. He never apologized for not being there and acted like we were an inconvenience. He was also speaking so softly that he had to keep repeating himself. I have stayed here in the past and never had a problem. I hope the guy was just having an off day.”

“The rooms were very clean and the staff was very good. However, the hotel premises didn't look very presentable at all.... Once again, the rooms were very nice and clean and will definitely stay there again.”

“Started out in a room with a horrific smell - and most of the bathroom fixtures loose and wobbly. There was a damp smell on the entire floor. It was nauseating. Once we reported the issue with the front desk, they worked quickly to get us moved - the second room was a great improvement and reset the whole tone of our stay. Breakfast was just okay - no offerings for anyone with allergies or restrictions of any kind. Juice wasn't good. Appreciated the fruit that was available the last couple...

“The room was clean the beds were comfortable, the indoor pool is heated, the staff were friendly and helpful. I rented the ro for my daughter escaping a domestic situation and they kept her name private in case he called looking for her. It’s in a great location in downtown New Albany right across the river from Louisville. I highly recommend, will stay here again.”

“Everything is great except for breakfast. It's the same every day—rather than switching up the eggs, it’s always scramble, and the lunch meat is always ham. wish they were like most hotels where they change it up from scramble to omelettes and sausage to bacon, but they don’t have that here. Breakfast is also very limited and cold as they don’t have the heating pans that most hotels have..”
