“The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner made loud, weird noises all night and the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The shower was very dark and awkward, especially for anyone over 5’6”. I’m 5’10” and had to squat to wash my hair. The WiFi was terrible and would barely connect. The location was fabulous though. ”

“My family and I had a great time there. It is clean, the kitchen had more than enough cooking utensils, the appliances were in good working order, and it was incredibly cozy. We had three adults, two teenagers, and a dog, and yet it felt incredibly spacious. We left an hour before it started snowing, so we’re hoping to redo this trip next winter. At least we know where we’ll be staying. :)”

“Honestly way better than we expected! Love the close walk to the village and the lake. It was enough distance that the hotel was quiet. Louie the manager is incredible! We had a great long weekend stay and will be coming back again. The community living room is a nice touch and great for my fam and I. The other guests were very friendly.”

“I booked a stay just for 1 night and confirmed everything. Got the receipt, cabin number, door code. Etc, early the day of the check in. Drove up there to find out that they double booked our stay and could not accommodate us. We drove 2 hours with 2 babies with us to find out that we can’t stay to a cabin that we wanted. I still appreciated the offers of atleast getting us alternative stay to their property or other properties, but it’s just really inconvenient and waste of time not having what...

“In general, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The trip was in the beginning of April so really it was between seasons. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There were issues of noise after hours. However, they were responsive to the noise complaints. The cabin (Cabin 7) was clean and comfortable. “We were greeted warmly by the staff despite being 4-days on the PCT and carrying some of it with us. 😄 The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure and shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion were high quality. I would absolutely recommend the Vintage Lakeside Inn to other PCT hikers looking for a break in Big Bear.”

“nobody vacum the room and we found a hole in the door that later i lost my deposit because i did not report the hole in the door. The cabin was so comfortable and nice for 3 people. Television nice and breakfast so healthy. I like the Natasha cabin. I will take it again.”
