Hotel a Potwin

“I stayed at this hotel while visiting Wichita for a boxing tournament with a large family group. The hotel has a very convenient guest common area with plenty of tools to help with dining (outside food) at the hotel. There’s plenty of tables, condiments, plates, napkins, and utensils as well as microwave that can be used. The TVs were very good for watching World Cup games while we were there too :) The location is odd in that it’s a pretty far walk to get to the actual casino, but the hotel...

“Room was dirty. Stains on the sheets! Gross”

“From my first step into the property you notice how nice it is! No steps even into front door, certainly a plus for those that find curbs a challenge. The men at the desk, coming and going, were extremely nice. The room was perfect!”

“We did not receive the room we booked with a pull out couch. We spent a full day trying to resolve the issue with the facility. The day manager simply told us he’d let housekeeping know we didn’t have a pullout couch. “WOW!!!!!! As soon as we walked into the lobby, Joy, at the front desk greeted us with a since of JOY. She was amazing. All of the rooms have full size refrigerators, stoves and microwaves. We didn't use anything except the refrigerator. The rooms were nice and clean. The owner was outside making sure that the property looked great. He was even pulling weeds from the flower beds. The property has an elevator, but Joy said they try to put one-night guests on the first floor. The property...

“Overall, I had a fine stay”

“Floors were not that clean. The continental breakfast was 98% carbs, no good selections for diabetics. Do not shower after 9 on a Sunday morning unless you prefer cold showers. There was one lamp between the beds that worked. No lighting for the desk area.”

“Spark was very clean with friendly, helpful staff. The price was very competitive and great for the price. Breakfast was good with a few hot options.”

“Centrally located and in a decent area. The property is old, but well kept for the most part. The bed was excruciatingly hard and incredibly uncomfortable for me. The couch bed wasn’t very good either. The noise of the highway was incredibly loud so made sleep difficult at times. Overall the furniture was just bad and incredibly uncomfortable need of being refreshed. The carpet in the hallways felt like I was walking on sticks or something because it made a crunching sound when I walked...

“The evening front desk manager was very helpful. There had been some kind of leak in the room, possibly from the huge rain the day before & the carpet was still damp. The coffee pot & TV did not work. The evening of our last night, the manager finally was able to come fix both but by then our stay was about over. Our room was by the pool & was noisy at times. There was a standard breakfast available. The location was excellent for us.”
