Ryokan in Prefettura di Hokkaido

“Food was very good and staff was so friendly. I stayed Suizantei after this hotel and the staff arranged transport without me asking. I got to stay in the room after check out time. I loved the room and all the snacks they provided in between meals. I even used the book library area to read some books. Highly recommend!”

Ora noi eravamo pienamente consapevoli...

“The corner suite was ideal as we had a large patio on the first floor. The backyard setting was beautiful as we sipped our morning beverage outside. The private onsen was perfect as we looked out onto the greenery. The staff was outstanding from the time of check in to check out. Both the dinners and breakfast (we stayed two nights) were outstanding, and we enjoyed every bite. The town itself is small and outside of some hiking, there isn't much to do. But if you're looking for a true get away...

“The shower water is very weak and not hot enough, facilities are very old. Dinner quality is bad, not many choices and too crowded.”

“We all stayed in Japanese/western rooms with private onsens. The rooms were old but well maintained. I have to give a low score as the hotel allows smoking and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. We had to open all of the windows and allow airflow during our entire stay. Thankfully we came in the summer so we could open the windows and there was a nice and steady breeze. They gave us a spray to spray on the tatami mats and carpet but the smell of smoke was embedded into the walls and filters...

“Floor bedding low cushion seats were difficult to use with bad knees but everything was clean and provided for all our needs. Takes getting used to even ordering meals the day before wirjs in a tiny town with few restaurants with limited hours”
