Hotel a Raleigh

“We have stayed at Skyline Lodge several times over the last few years. We have always found the rooms to be clean. We love the lake on the property and really enjoy having a lakeview room if possible. There are picnic tables, benches and a big deck outside of the pub to sit and enjoy the view and the quiet. “Nice and quiet. Nice little town very friendly. Lots of hiking and things to do at your own pace.”

“Staff was excellent. Room could be a little cleaner, crumbs on dresser, bathroom counter were very small spacing on counter and over toilet.”

“The hotel is generally run down and dirty. Mildew in the bathroom, stains on the bedding, sludge on the top frame of the bed, cigarette butts everywhere outside, overflowing garbage. We asked upon arrival what time the pool would open the following morning and they said 8:00am. My family was waiting at the door and at 8:10am the maintenance man said he just put the chemicals in and we had to wait an hour. Unfortunately, we were just passing through and planned our travel day around this and...

“Room was clean as were the towels. We just felt this Hampton Inn needs a ‘refresh’ as paint was peeling off in the bathroom as well as the wall paper bubbling (room 417). Dings in the door…we believe it is an older Hampton…needs a refresh for sure. Breakfast was very good as the touch of ‘gift bag’with 2 bottles of water and in the morning complimentary cookies! Staff was friendly and helpful ( put our cooler freezer packs into a freezer ready for us in the morning for our next leg of our trip!)”
