“I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides. “This place is beautiful. There are some nice updates and thoughtful items like shampoo, conditioner, a curling iron. It really is the little things. The view is beautiful. You are at the very end, so it looks like the ocean keeps going forever. I almost want to keep it a secret! It’s a little busy from people walking over from fort fisher, but I loved the people (and dog) watching. Met a lovely family who were fishing and caught a huge fish. I want to book again in the next couple of weeks....

“First, I have to say that all communications with Jonathan were excellent. No matter what question I had was immediately answered. The house was as described, very clean and had everything needed for a relaxed stay.Boating, don't expect to bring your own boat as the marsh is very shallow. There is a tandem kayak there but I brought my own kayak with us and it was great, spent a lot of time on the water.Overall it was a great relaxing trip but if you want a busy area with night life this is not...
