“When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. ”

“The resort is in a delightful location. The location makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. Laying in bed listening to Tucans calling was amazing. The pool is amidst trees with lots of local birds, including tucans flying overtop. A nice hiking trail on the resort. Close to all the local activities with pick up at the hotel. “Falling Leaves was a beautiful, cozy, and relaxing place. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for our honeymoon. The grounds of this hotel was so beautiful with lots of luscious green plants. It’s in a really great location too! ”

“The property grounds and staff there made the experience amazing and memorable. I only have an issue with a couple small things. My toilet broke on the first flush. Housekeeping was quick to fix the issue however. Also, I can tell the towels were cheap, the dinner rolls at the restaurant were microwaved, and the in room bar snacks were old. It would be nice if the owner invested more into these small details. For the rate per night, it must compete well with other luxury hotels. Overall, great...

“We had a great stay at the West House overall. Good location if you want to be able to walk around San Ignacio (probably the nicest hotel in that area). The reason for the mixed review is that we had something “go missing” from our room during our stay. It wasn’t something that we would ever bring out of the room with us and the worst part is that it was inside one of our bags when we left the room, meaning someone either went through the bag and took it or it fell out during the room cleaning...
