“Great traditional pub in a suburban area ( visit to relative) wonderful publican and staff. Parking was very tight. Stayed in the room frequented by British rock stars Robert Plant and Christie McVie, which was a nice. Despite being next to rail station we heard nothing. Fabulous’full English’ breakfast - try it !! No elevator - quite a number of stairs. ”

“A simple hotel in the middle of Stourbridge. Rooms are adequate in size, the bed is comfortable and there's a good shower in the bathroom.
There was a problem with my room but it got sorted quickly and the staff were excellent.
Small changes in the bathroom would help - a shelf above the sink so there's somewhere to put your stuff and similarly a soap dish in the shower would be really useful.”

“For a cheap room it was clean and comfortable. Bit noisy as we were by the door (that let late night people in and out) but you can’t complain when you pay next to nothing. Excellent value for money. Beds were comfy. Room and bathroom were clean. Staff friendly. ”

“We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, Vicky P was fantastic throughout the evening. I was unwell during the stay and needed to book an extra night, staff were kind and so caring asking my husband if I was ok. Will definitely stay again. Pool access was brilliant and included in the price.”

“The property is great. I was traveling with my wife, daughter (13 yrs old) and nephew (16 yrs old). The unit has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. It's a large space approximately 600 sqft. There is also parking which is a big plus in England.
The unit does not indicate it has a washer and dryer but the picture of the unit clearly shows a washer. Unfortunately there's no dryer and since we were traveling during the winter it took a long time for the clothes to hang dry. We were in outer Birmingham...

“Thank you. I believe the rooms corridors leading to bedrooms need a make over. Chips and broken toilet sisterns toilet flusher all need repair before guests arrive.
Breakfast was very good value for money and had a good choice.

“This hotel needs a refurb. The twin rooms we booked were on the ground floor. They smelt musty and damp. The beds were clean but uncomfortable. The shower was clean but the shower screen didn’t fit properly and flooded the floor.

Everyone was very happy on the business trip. One only issue is the guest Wifi is quite weak from the upstairs rooms so had to come to the bar to do some work. Thank you Himley House for an amazing stay!!”

I had booked a twin room but on arrival we only had 1 small cup, and 1 pillow on each bed, we were supplied with extras once I went to reception. When making tea we discovered we only had supplies for one each so went without before departure. Room was shabby with broken furniture but beds were comfortable and we had a good night sleep”

On the negative first room was tiny with a stopped up sink in bathroom and unusable shower because it was too hot. second room had a horrible bed with springs felt, no soap provided in room. Check in was really easy and good but front door seems to be not closed properly by others so never felt fully safe during my stay. Again it does the job and you get what you pay for ”

The desk is fixed to the wall which is fine but it's very poor quality, in 2 of the 3 rooms that I've stayed in the desk is cracked and ready to break. "Sono stata in questo hotel per lavoro per tre notti. Solitamente scelgo il Leonardo in Europa come catena di hotel in quanto mi trovo benissimo con le stanze ed il servizio. La posizione non è male, essendo situato abbastanza in centro ma questo hotel non è stato per nulla come gli altri Leonardo in cui sono stata. Le stanze sono piccole e per arrivarci ci vuole molto tempo in quanto non so che succede con i quattro ascensori ma si creano code per aspettarli. Inoltre la cosa più deludente è stata il servizio ho chiesto due sere di fila la colazione d’asporto ed entrambe le mattine si sono dimenticati o non lo hanno scritto. La colazione inoltre rispetto altri altri Leonardo non ha molte opzioni senza lattosio e senza glutine sebbene i camerieri siano gentili.
In sintesi non ritornerei in questo hotel visto il servizio."
